We've been meaning to get back to Jackson's Orchard for two weeks now but the weather kept playing games with us on the days we intended to go. But today it was all good so we made our way back over the Kentucky border to enjoy some fall weather at the farm again.
We did the pumpkin patch.
Josh and the kids strolled through the corn maze.
We enjoyed the hayride more this year since Anna didn't walk headlong into the back end of it like last year. :S
We hit the face painting station.
It was a castle for the boy and a unicorn for the girl.
The kids hit The Cider Slider many times over.
And they took a turn or two on this thing again ... I have yet to learn its name. :)
Remembering how she got bitten last year, Anna wanted no part of the petting/feeding zoo. Noah braved that one alone ...
while Anna waited in line for a pony-ride. When the pony wasn't ready in time, she was willing to ride the horse instead. :)
Noah met up with us after all his bunny-holding and goat feeding.
Stopping for a photo op after Noah's second delicious apple slush in an hour. Wow, it was tasty!
We left just in time to avoid the growing crowd and the coming rain. It started sprinkling as we drove away. Phew!
So. Much. Fun. Reminds me of the Saturday's we'd spend at Hunsader Farms in Myakka City melting in the hot Florida sun, but eager to enjoy pumpkins and Fall. :)
