We are in the love with the new scripture memory regimen Josh started with the kids at bedtime. It's based on Seeds Family Worship albums and, just like anything, it gets stuck in their heads when it is put to music. Like magic they recall the verse and its meaning at all the right times. It has been amazing to watch the light bulb go off for the kids when they see a place that verse speaks to what they are dealing with in the moment. These past couple weeks it's been all about Call to Me from Jeremiah 33:3. Noah asks to listen to it over and over and over again.
Call to Me from Seeds Family Worship
Call to me and
I will answer you
Call to me and
I will answer you
And tell you
Great and unsearchable things
And tell you
Great and unsearchable things
you do not know
Call to me!
Jeremiah 33:3
Shout it out now, Hallelujah
Shout it out now, Hallelujah
Shout it out now, Hallelujah
Shout it out now, Hallelujah
Call to me!
Call to me!
(btw - there is no cuter Hallelujah than the ones Noah belts out whole-heartedly with his precious mispronunciations)
Love. I really like that they include the scripture reference in the song. That's always the hardest part for me to remember. And most definitely the verses that I learned to song are the ones that I still find pop into my head in moments when I need them. :)
ReplyDeleteJust curious... which album is this song from?
ReplyDeleteSeeds of Courage. :) (and I totally agree on the reference part - I actually know this verse's reference because they actually put it in the song!)
ReplyDeleteLove that! Must go check that out STAT!
