Today is the second snow this winter, but really it counts as the first big snow - proven true by schools closing all over for tomorrow. I love a good snow when you don't have to be anywhere...or when you want your husband to not have to go out of town again. I love a good snow when you can enjoy it contentedly from the inside of your home. With football (or Polar Express) on in the background. And enough milk and chocolate to last a couple days.
An actual December snow makes you feel like your Christmas measures up to those snow-laden Christmas card scenes. Since we don't really have a blanket of snow, per se, I offer you this shot from our home of our mailbox and wreath nestled in some light snow drifts of our own.
Warm wishes to you all from our winter wonderland!
Kimmie, I just love all your updates and posts. Now that you entered the FB world I get even more Kimmie updates! I love it. If..ahem...I mean...when I finally get to meet your kiddos, they will not at all feel like strangers.
ReplyDeleteLooks like I'm having to eat my words - I kinda like FB. :)
ReplyDeleteI see you're managing to type a few words!
It's kind of addicting. FB that is...not typing. Takes me forever to type with a LOT of backspacing.
ReplyDelete:)
Hooray for snow... and for a day with Josh at home! :)
ReplyDeleteWell, HALF a day more at home, at least. He still had to leave this afternoon for an overnight trip. Sales stop for nothing!
