We counted down in a big way for this year's lake trip that my parents arranged for the family. We are so broke, there are no trips in the cards for us this year otherwise, so we were so grateful for this free getaway. And we had the highest hopes for a delightful time after how nice it was last year. We landed at a different house, Idle Days, this year and it was a total upgrade in every way - room, finishes, upgrade, double decker deck, lily pad, kayaks, paddle board, outdoor spaces, two kitchens, four bathrooms, everything! My parents and Emily's fam all stayed in the upstairs space and my family had the downstairs, which was so nice. Plenty of room and beds for all! Anna and Lasa actually slept in a room with the girl cousins upstairs, too.
Alas, the goodness was over the top and I can't even begin to recount the fun in an orderly fashion ... I think a lovely lake photo dump is in order. Drowning in the sweet memories!
We played Mafia three nights in a row. What a hoot!
